Game Designer Cover Letter Example

Dear Mr. Fitzpatrick,

Good day. I hope this letter finds you well. I am forwarding my resume to you as suggested by your colleague Dawn Wilson. She knows I am familiar with your organization’s work and have always been impressed with Bondy’s record for promoting from within. We have worked together in the past and Dawn thought I was an ideal candidate for your Game Designer opening.

I have been involved in this industry for nine years now. I have a B.A. in graphic design with a concentration in computer programming. I am also a painter. These combined talents have given me a strong knack for design programming and creativity. This was instrumental in contributing to the concepts and characters in my current employer’s products. In fact I was lead animator on the major character in the latest release of their flagship title Alyce in WanderLand . In total as Game Designer I played a part in over a dozen major games that Bondy has released during my time there. It has been a highly educational experience teaching me the best ways to organize collaborate and invigorate ideas.
