Tip 1:

Show that you’re versatile and work well independently as well as with others. Avoid pigeonholing yourself.

Answer 1:

I enjoy working by myself and as a team pretty much equally. I love taking on independent projects, but at a certain point, I want to put my head together with a team and really refine the concept. I also have enough experience to know that my work is better when I get input throughout the process. And in the end, it’s about making the best product possible.

Tip 2:

Focus on being a good fit with the target company: Tie your preferred work style back to the company’s culture.

Answer 2:

I’m at my best when I work independently and then collaborate with a team, and I get the sense that you have a collaborative culture here. At my most recent internship, I really loved the dynamic where I’d work hard on my own project and then come together with the rest of the group to share what I had learned.
