Dear Mr. Busser,

I would like to express my interest in the Clinician position advertised in today’s New Jersey Herald . I have a range of talents and skills developed during 10 years in the medical field. I will be an asset that helps bring in and retain patients through quality health care and customer service. I will do this using sound practices and a knowledge of medicine that establishes your clinic as an authority to be trusted.

My greatest assets as a clinician are the compassion and empathy I have for patients. Whether victims of domestic violence or children looking at fatal illnesses you have to have the demeanor that builds a rapport and faith. A lot of the clinician’s job is listening and sympathizing while still maintaining a professional attitude for making decisions and offering practical advice. The community is going to see me as much as a social worker as clinician. Patients want treatment but more than anything they want to know everything will work out. It is a juggling act that an experienced practitioner has learned to balance. A practitioner like me.
