Criminal Investigator Example

I write this letter in response to the ad placed on LiveCareer.com for an experienced criminal investigator. With my history, training and experiences, I am the best candidate for this position. You will agree after you take a look at my resume.

As a retired City, State City police officer, I am trained in both investigation and location. I have an Associate’s degree in Criminal Behavior. Since retiring, I have operated as a private investigator in several jurisdictions and environments. For two years, I was a Senior Criminal Investigator with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office.

As a criminal investigator, I am always professional, non-judgmental, courtesy and safe. I have operated successfully as a bail agent and have my private investigator’s license. I also have a license to carry a concealed weapon. I have the temperament and patience for long stakeouts and for coping with difficult individuals that have information. I also know how maintain relationships in places like law enforcement, the court system and the district attorney’s office. My police training has me prepared for situations that become physical.
