Dear Mr. Silverstein,
I read your post on LiveCareer talking about your need for a Junior Trader. I think my previous employment experiences alongside my education make me a viable candidate.
I have studied trading done my share of work in the field and have shown I can aptly handle any challenge the junior trader will encounter. I have an Associate’s in Economics and graduated with honors before getting my first job as a junior trader with Faulk in Cincinnati. There I dove headfirst into the brokerage and hedge fund arena assisting senior traders in their day-to-day operations. I was the point of contact for many first time customers introducing them to products and services as well as advising on investment strategies. I often acted as proxy for the senior trader at meetings conferences and other corporate functions.
In the four years since graduation I have become adept in a range of investment and securities options including the options and commodity trading branches. I review contracts regarding buy and sell options and see they are executed with copies sent to appropriate parties.
My experiences show I am far more than ready to be your Junior Trader. Let’s set up an opportunity to discuss the matter in person.
Best Regards,
Tia Petersen
