Dear Mr. Childs,
I read your post for a Park Ranger vacancy and thought to send my resume without hesitation. My experiences in the field more than match what you are looking for. Review my resume and see that I am well prepared and educated to help monitor and enforce the policies needed to ensure park grounds are respected and clean at all times.
For the last four years I have performed a range of duties in regard to open spaces. I have a degree in Forestry. Using proven restoration and habitat conservation processes I have managed sustainability of natural environments. In my park ranger duties I am adept at educating visitors local communities and other parties about parks wildlife and environmental issues. In that regard I have also been involved in the design of informational and educational materials for distribution to the public. I monitor campfire activity lead tours and hikes patrol waterways and respond to emergency situations. That means having training in treating injuries dealing with fires and conducting water and land rescues when waiting for emergency services is not an option.
As a self-confessed adventurer and lover of the outdoors I would appreciate the chance to come in and talk more about being your Park Ranger. I look forward to hearing from you to schedule an interview.
Best Regards,
Madelynn Wilkinson
