For the last two years I have interned in the software development department at Company Name. This tenure has provided invaluable insight in the effective operation of developing and creating software solutions for a wide range of industries.

I am ready to take this knowledge in a new direction such as the one offered by your company. While my time with Kiwi has been irreplaceable the fact is your Company Name office is closer to home. This will cut my commuter time almost by half making it easier to be more flexible with hours and availability. I am prepared to use my Junior Software Developer skills and experiences to develop maintain and train in software programs improving functionality and company reputation using everything from Java to managing lifecycles. I have defined my abilities in quick problem solving and applying abstract and technical concepts to proven techniques.

Needless to say sitting down with a Company Name rep to discuss the Junior Software Developer position in greater detail would be appreciated. I would love to come in for an interview and show you why I am perfect for this job.
